No account or login is needed. The calendar, timings, festivals and horoscope are calculated on your device, so they work offline. Internet is used only for ads, purchases and looking up a birth place in Jathakam.

Tap the city button at the top of the calendar. Choose Use current location or pick a city (Cumming GA, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Dubai, London, New York). Sunrise, Rahu Kalam, hora and prayer times update right away.

Go to Settings › My star, or tap Set my star on the horoscope card of any day. Pick your nakshatra and kooru (rasi). Some stars fall across two rasis — choose the one in your jathakam.

Yes. The month view scales to fill a tablet screen, and everything else works the same as on a phone.

Printed calendars are timed for Kerala. The app calculates sunrise, sunset, Rahu Kalam, Gulika, Yamagandam, hora and prayer times for your location. In the US or Gulf they will be quite different — that's expected, and correct for where you are.

So your star birthdays, ശ്രാദ്ധം and festivals match what your family in Kerala observes — just like a printed Manorama or Mathrubhumi calendar. The nazhika shown for nakshatra and tithi are also for Kerala.

The time from local sunrise to sunset is divided into eight equal parts, and the weekday's traditional part is Rahu Kalam (the same method for Gulika and Yamagandam). Because day length changes, the times shift a little every day.

Muslim dates use the Umm al-Qura calendar; local moon sighting in Kerala or your country can differ by a day. Some Hindu festivals depend on local temple decisions. Tamil dates can also differ by a day. For ceremonies, please confirm with your temple, mosque or church.

They are calculated from the Sun's and Moon's positions and usually agree with printed Kerala calendars to within about half a nazhika (around 12 minutes).

Automatic picks the method used where you are (Karachi for India, ISNA for North America, Umm al-Qura for Saudi Arabia, the Gulf method for the UAE…). You can choose another method, Shafi'i or Hanafi Asr, and add or subtract minutes per prayer in Settings › My festivals › Muslim › Prayer times, Hijri date, Qibla. The Hijri date can be shifted for Kerala moon sighting.

Hindu (Onam, Vishu, Navaratri, Vijayadashami, Deepavali, Thiruvathira, Shivaratri, Thrikkarthika, Attukal Pongala and more), Muslim (Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, Bakrid, Muharram, Nabidinam and more), Christian (Easter, Good Friday, Christmas, Pentecost and Kerala feasts), Kerala bank holidays and US federal holidays — calculated for every year.

Use the Add tab › Star birthday / ശ്രാദ്ധം, or add a person in Alerts › Family. Pick the Malayalam month and star — the app finds the correct date every year and reminds you the day before and on the day.

On any day page, tap the bell next to Rahu Kalam, or ask “Alert me Tuesday and Friday before Rahu Kalam” in the Ask tab. Alerts are recalculated every day for your location.

Go to Settings › My festivals and turn off the categories you don't follow. You'll only get alerts for what you choose; the calendar still shows everything.

• Check Settings › Apps › AI കലണ്ടർ › Notifications is allowed, and that alarms & reminders are allowed for the app.
• Open the app once every week or two. The app schedules alerts ahead and tops them up each time you open it.
• Check Do Not Disturb and battery-saver settings.

Open the Alerts tab and swipe left on an alert to delete it. To change one, delete it and add it again with the new settings. Family reminders change automatically when you edit the person in Alerts › Family.

Daily: from the Moon's transit through your rasi (chandra gochara) and tarabalam. Monthly and yearly: from the transits of all grahas — especially Jupiter and Saturn — from your janma rasi. Horoscope content is for spiritual and entertainment purposes.

Summary gives a rating and the key points — free for everyone. Detailed (Premium) adds career, money, family and health, every graha's transit, best days, Chandrashtamam, Shani periods, month-by-month outlook and remedies.

Planet positions use Lahiri ayanamsa and are accurate to about a degree. A graha very close to a rasi border may be shown differently from a hand-drawn jathakam. Enter the exact birth time and place for the best result. For weddings and major decisions, please consult an astrologer.

Yes — tap Share jathakam PDF below the chart. You can also save the birth details to a family member.

All 10 Kerala poruthams: dinam, ganam, mahendram, sthree deergham, yoni, rasi, rasyadhipa, vasyam, rajju and vedha, with a score out of 10 and a dosham warning for rajju and vedha.

Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen › Edit › Add Widget › search AI കലണ്ടർ and choose a size.

Touch and hold the Lock Screen › Customize › Lock Screen › tap the widget area and add the Rahu Kalam or star widget.

A Live Activity that shows the countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Turn it on from today's page or in Settings.

• Premium — $3.99/year: no ads, detailed monthly and yearly horoscope, jathakam with reading, dasa and PDF, 10-point porutham, and unlimited family profiles (free: 3).

Sign in to Google Play with the same Google account, then open Settings › Plan › Restore.

Open Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › AI കലണ്ടർ › Cancel subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the paid period.

Payments are handled by Google Play. Request a refund at Google Play Help.

Free users see a full-screen ad every few taps — at least 2 minutes apart, never when you open the app from a notification and never while using Ask. Ad-free or Premium removes all ads.

Your location, family profiles, photos, birth details and reminders stay on your device. We don't have servers that store them. Google AdMob serves ads to free users; if you allow tracking, ads may be personalised. Read the full Privacy Policy.

• Location — local sunrise, Rahu Kalam and prayer times.
• Contacts — only if you import birthdays into Family.
• Microphone & speech — only when you tap the mic in Ask.
• Photos / camera — only to add a family photo.

Each is optional and asked only when you use that feature.

Delete a person or reminder in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device.
