Privacy Policy

BeeiTech, LLC (“BeeiTech,” “we,” “us”) explains how we handle information when you use our iOS and Android apps and visit https://beeitech.com.

1. Summary

• We design apps to keep as much of your content as practical on your device.
• Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google Play; we do not receive your full card number.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• Third-party services you choose to use have their own policies.

2. Apps this policy covers

• JobQuote — contractor estimating, quotes, invoices, payments tracking, photos, and related tools (bundle id com.BeeiTech.JobQuote).
• SchollFind — college search, scholarships and the Ask Owl AI counselor (bundle id com.BeeiTech.CollageFinder). See section 3.7.
• AI Malayalam Calendar (“AI കലണ്ടർ”) — Malayalam calendar, panchangam, prayer times, reminders and family star dates (iOS bundle id com.BeeiTech.AIMalayalamCalendar; Android package com.beeitech.aimalayalamcalendar). See section 3.6.
• Other BeeiTech apps we publish later, unless a separate policy is linked for that app.

3. Information we process

3.1 Information you provide

• Support emails or messages you send to support@beeitech.com.
• In-app company profile, customer, job, quote, invoice, payment, and contract details you enter (especially in JobQuote).
• Consent records when an app asks you to accept Terms or Privacy (for example timestamp and document version).

3.2 On-device app data

Depending on the app, we may store on your device (and, if you enable Apple sync features such as iCloud, in your Apple account):

• Quotes, jobs, customers, invoices, payments, rates/materials, photos, and preferences (JobQuote).
• Settings such as appearance, tax rate, and entitlements state.

JobQuote is built so contractor and customer business data you enter is primarily for your use on device. BeeiTech does not operate a separate JobQuote cloud account that hosts your customer list unless we clearly add that later and update this policy.

3.3 Device permissions

With your permission, apps may access:

• Camera / Photos — job photos, logos, payment proof.
• Microphone / Speech recognition — dictating job descriptions (JobQuote).

You can deny or revoke these in iOS Settings. Core features that do not need a permission still work where the product allows a manual alternative.

3.4 Purchases (Apple)

Subscriptions and in-app purchases (for example JobQuote Pro) are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We receive purchase or subscription status needed to unlock features. See Apple’s privacy policy for how Apple handles payment data.

3.5 Third-party services inside an app

• Apple: App Store, StoreKit, system frameworks, and optional iCloud sync.

3.6 AI Malayalam Calendar

• Location (optional). If you choose “Use current location”, the app uses your device location to calculate sunrise, sunset, Rahu Kalam, hora and prayer times. It is rounded to about 1 km, used on your device, and not sent to BeeiTech. You can pick a city instead.
• Reminders, family profiles and photos. Names, birth stars, reminders and profile photos you add are stored only on your device.
• Contacts (optional). If you import birthdays, the app reads names and birthdays on your device to show a list; only the entries you choose are saved as reminders. Contacts are not uploaded.
• Microphone and speech recognition (optional). Used only when you tap the microphone in Ask. Speech is converted to text by Apple’s speech recognition on iPhone (on-device when supported) or by your Android device’s speech recognition service (typically Google), and then answered on your device by the app’s calendar engine. BeeiTech does not receive your recordings or questions.
• Notifications. Alerts are scheduled locally on your device; no push server is used. On Android the app uses exact alarms so Rahu Kalam and prayer alerts arrive on time.
• Advertising (free version). The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device and usage information, including the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone if you allow tracking; the Android advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in Android Settings), IP address and ad interactions, to show, measure and personalize ads. We ask for consent where required (Google’s consent form in the EEA/UK and applicable US states) and, on iPhone, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking. You can change ad privacy choices in the app’s Settings, tracking permission in iOS Settings, and the advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Subscribers to Ad-free or Premium do not see ads and the ad SDK is not started. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• Accuracy. Calendar, panchangam, festival and prayer times are calculated by the app and may differ from local temple, mosque, church or moon-sighting announcements. Horoscope content is for spiritual/entertainment purposes.

3.7 SchollFind

• College search and scholarships. Your searches (college name, major, states, GPA, home state) are sent to our server at schollfind.beeitech.com to return results. They are not linked to your name or Apple ID. College data comes from the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard; scholarship details come from each provider and may change, so confirm with the college or provider.
• Ask Owl (AI counselor). When you ask Owl a question, your messages are sent to our server and to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) to generate the answer. BeeiTech does not store the text of your conversations. To apply monthly message limits we store a random per-install identifier and a monthly message count. Please don’t include sensitive personal information in your questions. AI answers can be wrong; confirm important details with the college.
• Microphone and speech recognition (optional). Used only when you tap the microphone in Ask Owl. Apple’s speech recognition turns your voice into text (on your device when your iPhone supports it); only the resulting text is sent as your question. BeeiTech does not receive or store recordings.
• Subscriptions. To give Ad-free and Premium subscribers their higher Ask Owl limits, the app sends Apple’s signed purchase record to our server, which checks it with Apple. We do not receive your payment details.
• Advertising (free version). The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, including a banner and occasional full-screen ads. Google may collect device and usage information, including the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone if you allow tracking; the Android advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in Android Settings), IP address and ad interactions, to show, measure and personalize ads. We ask for consent where required and show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking. Ad-free and Premium subscribers do not see ads and the ad SDK is not started. 3.8 Website

When you visit https://beeitech.com, standard web server logs (such as IP address, user agent, and pages requested) may be collected by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on these legal pages.

4. How we use information

• Provide and improve app features you request.
• Process support requests.
• Enforce Terms, prevent abuse, and meet legal or App Store requirements.
• Maintain subscription entitlement state via Apple.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

• Apple — App Store, purchases, and related platform services.
• Google AdMob — device and ad-interaction data in the free versions of AI Malayalam Calendar and SchollFind, as described in sections 3.6 and 3.7.
• Google Play — app distribution, and purchases and subscriptions in AI Malayalam Calendar and JobQuote for Android.
• Anthropic — the messages you send to Ask Owl in SchollFind, to generate answers, as described in section 3.7.
• Service providers — hosting or email, under agreements that limit use to providing their service.
• Legal / safety — if required by law or to protect users, BeeiTech, or the public.
• Business transfer — merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

• On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app (and any synced copies you control in iCloud).
• Support emails are kept for a reasonable support period.
• Consent records may be retained as needed for compliance.

7. Children

Our contractor and general productivity apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your choices

• Delete app data by clearing content in-app where available, or by deleting the app.
• Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Turn off location, contacts, microphone, speech, photos, notifications or tracking any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or in Android Settings → Apps → AI Malayalam Calendar → Permissions. In AI Malayalam Calendar, use Settings → Ad privacy choices where shown.
• Email support@beeitech.com for access or deletion requests related to information we hold in support channels.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small publisher. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

10. International users

We are based in the United States (Georgia). If you use the apps from elsewhere, you understand information may be processed in the United States.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide in-app or App Store notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
